the violence you witness on stage is not just an act, it continues backstage within the dressing rooms. this place is run like a sweat shop, it's never silent and it's never still.

nobody knows what goes on behind these closed doors, it's a mystery bigger than that of anything else within the circus.

from the coconut shy to archery to that duck fishing game. win yourself a giant stuffed animal or even a goldfish.

a perfectly safe way to crash your car into anothers. bumper karts can be found here during the evenings and night but during the day there's a chance to compete, or simply bet upon various horse and donkey races.

most of the outfits are stored within this trailer for all circus workers, the place is never empty.

the puppeteers and the staff each own their own trailer filled to the brim with their belongings, their personal puppets and dolls 'packed' away with the rest of their stuff.

this open area is where the traveling band of gypsies has set up camp. although rather small, it has been quickly occupied by several makeshift tents, battered belongings, and scattered piles of firewood.

this cheap motel is a single story structure crowded with dozens of tiny rooms and chipped and peeling walls. it isn't exactly the most respected of places, and is usually populated by guests to the circus, although, at times, performers can be found here as well...

a rather run-down diner set slightly back from the circus. it is run by a rather tempramental woman. the food is decent.
